Woodland Squirrel is an ideal kit, for an intermediate / skilled needle felter.
The finished squirrel model stands around 15cm tall when made. He has a white tum and a black nose. The rest of him is made from soft dark red British wool.
This beautifully packaged kit is ideal for a needle felter with experience as the techniques needed to needle him require some expertise.
Red squirrels are now an endangered species in the UK. The grey squirrel is the main reason for the decline of the red squirrel. Habitat loss has also contributed to the red squirrel's decline.
